POSITION PURPOSE

This role will oversee the financial operations of multiple hotels in Mekong Delta area. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial guidance to hotel management teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to drive financial performance across multiple properties. The role includes the supervision (but not directly report) of other Finance Controller/ Chief Accountant/s.

MAJOR TASK

Financial reporting & Analysis:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions;
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance;
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for all hotels within the cluster;
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts and projections;
  • Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Internal control & Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies;
  • Regular review to identify and mitigate risks;
  • Maintain a working knowledge of statutes to ensure all financial information meets the necessary statutory and regulatory compliance standards, including liaising with tax consultants, auditors to ensure legislative requirements are met.

Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Collaborate with hotel General Managers and Cluster General Manager to develop and execute financial strategies;
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions;
  • Participate in strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Cost control & Efficiency:

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements;
  • Monitor and control operating expenses to achieve financial targets;
  • Implement best practices in financial management and operational efficiency.

Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals across the cluster;
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities;
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Assist Cluster General Manager in other regular and ad-hoc tasks.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role within the hospitality industry;
  • English fluently (in 4 skills);
  • Proficiency in Excel;
  • Strong knowledge of Vietnam Accounting Standards and other Vietnam tax/finance regulation;
  • Experience with financial systems and accounting software;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill;
  • Solid collaboration and communication skill;
  • High attention to details & strong time/priority management skill;
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

WORKING CONDITION

  • 01 day off per week
  • Travelling within the country/region if required
