PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

This is a very exciting role with a global marketing, PR, events, and trade representation agency. SLC help their clients to extend their reach, promote their brand, educate the market, engage audiences, and increase talkability. The role will assist the Head of Destination Marketing grow the SLC social media channels and support with the daily management of the destination, hotel, and DMC clients.

MAJOR TASK

1/ Research

  • Work closely with the Head of Destination Marketing to design and implement marketing strategies
  • Researching, creating, scheduling, and updating regular engaging client-orientated content
  • Report, artwork creation and design in Canva

2/ Data Management

  • Manage our database of trade contacts and social influencers
  • Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data
  • Loading data onto system and ensure accuracy

3/ Account Assistant

Assist the Head of Destination Marketing and Account Director across our portfolio of destinations, hotels and DMCs. Tasks will vary depending on the needs of the client but could include:

  • Coordinate content for weekly newsletters
  • Assist with B2B and B2C marketing campaigns
  • Update client trade brochure audits
  • Assist with end of project reporting
  • Assist with roadshow or sales calls scheduling
  • Assist with new business pitch decks

REQUIREMENTS

1/ Experience

Experience with research technique across the web and in-depth working knowledge Canva and Microsoft Office (Experience of Research & Data Management in a global company is an advantage)

2/ Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor Degree  (Degree in Business, Marketing and Tourism related field can be an advantage)

3/ Skill

  • Fluent in national local language and English
  • Experience with Canva and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
  • Strong communication skills for internal & external purposes
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time, completing within required time frame and quality standards

4/ Knowledge

A keen interest in Tourism Marketing and Research

5/Attributes   

  • Humble – quick to point out the contributions of others, share credit, emphasize team over self and define success collectively rather than individually
  • Smart good judgment and intuition around the subtleties of group dynamics and the impact of your words and actions
