POSITION OVERVIEW
The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing the revenue potential of Victoria Hotels and Resorts, as well as mid-range Hotels (EMM Hotels, Flower Garden Hotel, Mai Chau Lodge) and cruises in Ha Long and Mekong region, by implementing effective yield management strategies. This role involves analyzing market trends, booking patterns, and competition to optimize pricing, occupancy, and overall profitability. This role requires close collaboration with the sales, marketing, and hotel operations teams to ensure alignment with the hotels’ strategic goals.
KEY RESPONSIBLE
- Revenue Optimization: Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies based on thorough analysis of market conditions, competitor pricing, and historical data to maximize revenue across all distribution channels.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate revenue forecasts and generate regular reports to monitor performance against targets. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and recommend adjustments to strategies as needed.
- Inventory Management: Manage room inventory to ensure optimal availability across all booking channels, balancing occupancy levels and average daily rate (ADR) to achieve financial goals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior. Use insights to inform pricing and distribution strategies.
- Channel Management: Oversee distribution channel strategies, including direct bookings, online travel agencies (OTAs), and GDS systems, ensuring that the hotels are well-positioned across all platforms.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align promotional activities with revenue goals. Ensure that all campaigns are optimized for maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Budgeting: Assist in the development of the annual budget and long-term financial plans, ensuring that revenue management strategies are aligned with the hotels’ financial objectives.
- Customer Focus: Ensure that revenue management decisions are customer-centric, maintaining a balance between profitability and guest satisfaction.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in revenue management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a deep understanding of revenue management principles.
- Proficiency in revenue management software, PMS, and channel management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese
