POSITION PURPOSE
We are seeking a visionary and innovative Spa and Wellness Manager to lead the development and operation of our Victoria Spa and Wellness Department. This role focuses on creating holistic wellness experiences that integrate treatments, nutrition, and activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wellness, a creative approach to program development, and the ability to build meaningful, guest-centered packages that promote health and relaxation.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Wellness Concept Development:
- Design and implement a unique wellness vision and philosophy that aligns with the Victoria brand and guest expectations.
- Develop comprehensive wellness programs that integrate spa treatments, fitness activities, nutritional guidance, and mindfulness practices.
- Research and incorporate emerging wellness trends to keep offerings fresh and appealing.
- Program and Package Creation:
- Create themed wellness packages combining treatments (e.g., massage, facials), fitness activities (e.g., yoga, meditation), and nutrition (e.g., detox menus, consultations).
- Collaborate with chefs, fitness experts, and wellness practitioners to design programs tailored to guest needs, such as stress relief, weight management, or rejuvenation.
- Organize wellness retreats and special events that attract a broad range of guests.
- Team Leadership and Training:
- Recruit, train, inspire a team of skilled therapists, nutritionists, fitness instructors, and support staff.
- Conduct regular workshops and training to ensure the team delivers consistent, high-quality services aligned with the wellness philosophy.
- Guest Engagement:
- Personalize wellness journeys for guests by conducting initial consultations to assess their needs and preferences.
- Build lasting relationships with guests by providing recommendations and follow-up support for their wellness goals.
- Product and Retail Development:
- Curate and manage a selection of wellness products, including skincare, supplements, and fitness accessories, that align with the Victoria Spa’s concept.
- Develop signature products or treatments that reflect the wellness center’s unique identity.
- Operational and Financial Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the department, ensuring exceptional service and smooth execution of all programs.
- Develop and manage budgets for wellness programs and initiatives, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, guest feedback, and market trends to refine offerings and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaboration and Marketing:
- Work with the marketing team to promote wellness packages and events through online platforms, partnerships, and targeted campaigns.
- Establish collaborations with local and international wellness experts, nutritionists, and retreat facilitators to enhance the guest experience.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
- Education: Degree in wellness, hospitality management, or related fields. Certifications in holistic health, nutrition, or spa management are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wellness or spa management
- Skills:
- Creativity in concept development and program design.
- Knowledge of holistic wellness principles, including treatments, nutrition, and fitness.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal abilities.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget and revenue management.
- Personal Traits: Passion for health and wellness, creativity, empathy, and a proactive approach to innovation and guest engagement.
- Work Environment: This role involves working in a tranquil, wellness-focused environment. The position requires creativity, attention to detail, and collaboration across multiple disciplines to create a cohesive and rejuvenating experience for guests.
