POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a passionate and driven FIT Sales & Reservations Manager to lead our dynamic team at Vivu Journeys. This role is more than just management—it is about leadership, transformation, and growth. You will be responsible for overseeing our FIT Sales & Reservations operations with the hunger of a top-tier salesperson and the resilience of a true leader.

This role requires someone who thrives on challenge, is energized by targets, and is always striving for more. You’ll coach and develop your team to be their best, optimize systems and processes, and build powerful relationships with our partners and customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Leadership & Growth
  • Drive FIT sales strategy in alignment with company goals, aiming for aggressive revenue growth and market share.
  • Foster a hungry sales culture with a strong “test & learn” mindset—encouraging experimentation, learning from failure, and continuous improvement.
  • Personally engage with high-potential leads and strategic opportunities to maximize conversions and build long-term partnerships.
  • Track sales KPIs (conversion rate, revenue per inquiry, etc.) and take data-driven actions to exceed targets.
  • Create a team culture who are active in seeking enquiry, and not just responsive to those that have been sent
  • Team Development & Coaching
  • Inspire and lead a team of FIT sales & reservation executives to consistently deliver high performance.
  • Provide hands-on coaching, frequent feedback, and personal development opportunities.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, role-plays, and workshops to sharpen commercial acumen and customer handling skills.
  • Create a team culture that values curiosity, ambition, ownership and support whilst maintaining a laser focus on results. Whereby every enquiry received is treated as gold.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation
  • Review current tools and processes and redesign where needed to boost efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline quoting, communication, and booking workflows.
  • Introduce and test new approaches, products, or technology where appropriate.
  • Client Experience & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain close relationships with key clients, ensuring an exceptional and proactive customer journey. Our expectation is for monthly check ins with all key FIT partners.
  • Our aim is for our booking process to be the best of any DMC, globally.
  • Continuously challenge the status quo—never be satisfied with current customer satisfaction levels, always seek opportunities to improve.
  • Ensure inquiries are handled with speed, accuracy, and a deep understanding of client expectations and brand tone.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Business Development, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide market and customer insights to shape future products and offers.
  • Contribute to internal training and sales enablement across the wider team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, Business, or a related field.
    • 6+ years of experience in FIT sales, reservations, or travel account management, with at least 3 year in a leadership role.
      • Proven track record of driving sales and leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in other foreign languages such as French is a strong advantage.
      • Deep understanding of customer experience and sales dynamics in the DMC space.
