MAJOR TASKS
Supervise and Lead the Accounting Team
- Directly oversee the day-to-day activities of a team of accountants, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. This includes general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial transactions.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare accounting and management reports which are required by Finance Manager; Direct and dotted line managers;
- Ensure all tax and legal documents filing, tax and fee payments/statutory and audit report are met deadlines and met the necessary statutory and regulatory compliance standards;
- Keep update on any changes of law which effect to company’s operation and tax structure and timely report to managers.
Delegation and Workload Management
- Effective communication reports to direct and dotted line managers;
- Assign tasks, distribute workload equitably, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met and resources are optimized.
Risk management
- Fully compliance with company and head office’s policies;
- Fully understand and follow company’s control processes;
- Proactive in recognition of risk/fraud and misconduct.
Customer service
- Coordinate with related internal (sale, operations, purchasing, HR…) and external (bankers, investors, suppliers, customers,…) parties
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as senior accountant;
- Experience working with overseas companies is a strong plus;
Qualifications
Skills
- Fluent in national local language and English;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications;
- Ability to tell insight from spreadsheet;
- Leadership competences and people development.
Knowledge
- Well knowledge of general tax regulations and general accepted accounting principles
