POSITION PURPOSE
The role of FIT Sales and Reservations focuses on developing and implementing sales opportunities at Vivu Journeys. You will be a proactive member of the Sales & Reservations team, reporting to the Sales and Reservations Team Leader. You will work closely with regional teams to ensure that inquiries from prospects and clients are handled efficiently. Your key responsibilities include replying to all inquiries within the expected turnaround time and providing excellent customer support to maximize conversion rates. You are expected to have a thorough understanding of the client’s brand, expectations, and standards, and possess a strong drive for success.
MAJOR TASKS
- In Charge of Replying to Assigned Inquiries: Promptly respond to all assigned client and prospect inquiries to ensure timely communication and high conversion rates.
- Engage and Work with the Vivu Journeys Teams: Collaborate with various Vivu Journeys teams to gather all necessary information and rates related to client inquiries.
- Discuss with BDM: Coordinate with the Business Development Manager (BDM) in charge of the account to plan and set margins when needed.
- Suggest and Implement Business Growth Ideas: Propose and execute innovative ideas to grow the business and improve sales performance.
- Work closely with the Operations team to confirm bookings and services.
- Double-check itineraries, bookings, and vouchers for accuracy before sending confirmations.
- Handle special requests like dietary needs, accessibility, or event arrangements.
- Input and update all bookings in the system accurately.
- Monitor deadlines for deposits, payments, and cancellations to avoid issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm services and secure the best rates.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to provide seamless service.
- Share destination updates and new ideas to improve team performance.
- Participate in training to stay informed about new systems and products
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1-2 year experience in travel industry
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Must be proficient using technology and working with software applications
- High degree of customer service and satisfaction
- Minimum Bachelor Degree
- Solid teamwork and communication (both verbal and written) skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Flexible and able to work with uncertainties and changing priorities
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions
- Multi-tasking
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills across a variety of cultures
- A self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and targets.
- Ability to work outside normal office hours when required.

- Flexi hours (8:00am – 10:00am / 4:30pm – 6:30pm).
